Data Deletion Instructions
Use these instructions to ask Convero to delete information associated with an account, workspace, connected channel, or customer interaction.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Send your request
Email contact@convero.tech from an address associated with the relevant account, workspace, business, or customer interaction. Use a clear subject such as “Data deletion request.” You may request deletion even if you can no longer sign in.
Never email passwords, one-time codes, Meta access tokens, app secrets, webhook secrets, or other authentication credentials.
2. Information to include
Provide enough information for us to locate the correct records and understand the requested scope. If a detail is unknown, say so rather than guessing.
- Your full name and the email address or phone number associated with the request.
- The workspace or business name and, if available, the workspace ID.
- Your relationship to the workspace or business, such as owner, team member, customer, or authorized representative.
- The connected channel involved, such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp, and a Page name, Instagram username, WABA name, or phone number if known. Do not provide tokens or passwords.
- The records you want deleted and any conversation, lead, booking, or customer reference that will help identify them.
3. Verification
We may reply to verify your identity, your authority over a workspace or connected asset, and the scope of the request. This protects other users, businesses, and customers from unauthorized deletion. A business customer may need to approve deletion of records it controls, and we may direct a customer to that business when it is best placed to verify the relationship.
4. Data that may be deleted
Depending on the verified request and the data under Convero's control, deletion may include the following categories:
- Convero account profile, invitations, membership, and authentication-related records.
- Workspace configuration, business profile, team data, catalog content, settings, and workspace-owned records.
- Connected channel authorizations and connection records for Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, WhatsApp Business Accounts and phone numbers, or other integrations.
- Customer conversations, messages and attachments held by Convero, notes, handoff records, and channel identifiers.
- Leads, customer records, qualification answers, service requests, bookings, and related operational data.
5. Disconnecting external services
Where applicable, we may disconnect a selected integration and attempt to revoke the authorization Convero holds. Deletion by Convero does not automatically delete information independently held by a workspace business, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, an AI provider, Google, Telegram, a CRM, an email recipient, or another destination. You may need to submit a separate request to those parties.
6. Records that may be retained
We may retain the minimum records reasonably necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, financial, fraud-prevention, dispute, audit, or security requirements; enforce agreements; document the request and its outcome; or protect the service and its users. Protected backups and logs may keep limited copies until they are overwritten through normal system cycles.
The scope and time required depend on the data, the verified authority, connected systems, and applicable obligations. Convero does not promise one fixed deletion timeline for every request.
7. Confirmation
We will send confirmation to the verified contact email when Convero has completed the applicable deletion steps, or explain what additional information is needed, what could not be deleted, or what limited records must be retained. Keep that email as the record of your request.
8. Questions
For questions about deletion or privacy, email contact@convero.tech or review convero.tech/privacy.
